Seagrave Observatory Building Repairs
The Clark building restoration work was undertaken today. The inner wall alongside the hallway connecting the Basement with Frank Seagrave's office was severely water damaged. The leaks in the roof were corrected last season, however, insects and rot had taken their toll on the wood surfaces inside. The entire inner wall on the left side was stripped bare and new, pressure treated lumber, was installed. A new, outer shell, of bead board was added to match the rest of the interior. All that's left to do is add some primer and repaint the entire hallway one uniform color.
The work will come in under $150 total for supplies.
