The Moon has always been an object of wonder, and on Saturday, September 19th, Skyscrapers, Inc., will join hundreds of observatories around the world in showing the beauty of our nearest celestial neighbor.

In addition to the organization’s historic Clark refractor, many other telescopes will be set up on the observatory’s grounds, with Skyscraper members pointing out and explaining various parts of the Moon’s surface.

Also, the following Sunday, September 27th, will be a total lunar eclipse.  How can you watch it?  Do you need a telescope to see it?  What causes them to happen?  These, and other questions about total lunar eclipses will be explained during the evening in the association’s club house.

Come share the international celebration of the Earth’s only natural satellite!
