scout program at 8:00 and viewing at 9:00
We had two small groups of scouts that attended this event. One of the groups scout leaders was a friend of member Rick Arnold. The night started off at 8:00 with a presentation in the meeting hall that ran for around an hour. The presentation was basically a watered down version of the scout program. We then moved outside to cover the binoculars, how to locate Polaris and how a basic telescope works. We had the Clark as well as the 12” and 16” Meade scopes open. Jim had also setup a time-lapse camera in the 16” Meade room.
